IMPACT FUND CLASS ACTION CONFERENCE 2025
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE RULES
The Impact Fund has a limited pool of funds to assist with hotel and travel costs for Conference attendees employed by nonprofit legal organizations. We provide financial assistance on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the order in which registrations are received. Priority for financial assistance is given to panel speakers at the conference. Impact Fund retains ultimate discretion to distribute available funds equitably and generally will provide assistance to only one attendee per applying organization.
Please be certain to purchase the most affordable refundable flight.
Nonprofit attendees must submit a Financial Assistance Request Form to be considered for financial assistance. We will notify you if you have been approved for financial assistance.
The Impact Fund provides the following financial assistance:
Hotel: We will reimburse hotel stays at the Grand Hyatt San Francisco at the conference nightly room rate. Financial assistance is available for a maximum of two nights, room rate and taxes only ($195 per night plus taxes, for a total of $228 per night).
Flight: We will reimburse air travel at the lowest refundable available round-trip coach fare, up to $750.
Mileage: If you are driving more than fifteen miles to attend the Institute, we will reimburse mileage to and from the Institute at a rate of $0.655 per mile.
Parking: If you are driving more than fifteen miles and staying at the designated hotel, we will reimburse hotel parking for up to 2 days.
We do not provide financial assistance for the following expenditures:
Conference registration fees
Airline baggage fees
Airline reservation change fees
Airport parking
Ground transportation to/from the airport
Car rental
Ground transportation during the conference
Hotel incidental fees (including Wi-Fi)
Food and drink
Important Dates:
Financial Assistance Request Forms are due by Monday, January 13, 2025. Request Forms received after that date will not be considered.
Financial Assistance Reimbursement Forms are due by Friday, March 21, 2025. Reimbursement Forms received after that date will not be approved.
